Annual fee due without even activating card, have no intention of using this card, had none when I completed application and learned of fee, didn't have a chance to cancel application when final details were shown. First problem: I applied for two cards on the same day.
Discover gave me a card with a k, INDIGO gave me a card with a 0 credit limit. and they will sell your information to other entities.. When I saw it charged fees I thought it was cancelled.
I am responsible for 75.00 and late fee I received while trying to cancel this card.
THIS IS A HORRIBLE CARD, I HAVE OTHER CREDIT CARDS AND WANTED TO INCREASE MY CREDIT SCORE. The annual fee is ridiculous and they do not update their system after you make a payment.
To top that my monthly payment was 40.00 a month just for that small credit limit of 300.00.
That was too much to pay each month I only pay 25.00 a month on capital one with a 1500 dollar limit.
I have a friend with one who wishes they never got it - and now they are stuck.
This card is of no value, hidden information at the time of applying.
I got approved for this card and they charged a 75.00 set up fee that they took right off the top.
I ended up having to pay for charges that were not mine just to keep my credit from getting worse.
I had my dispute letters sent in and they only waived some of the charges even though I proved I was never in Florida and they could see I was using my card on the same days at stores in Virginia.
I went with Capital One Platinum no yearly fee card and they've already increased my limit twice. Don't waste your time unless you absolutely need a credit reference. This card had a credit limit of 300.00 but their interest rate is high and an annual fee every year which is ridiculous.
There are also other less expensive options like Open Sky if you're interested in going with the secured option. It could take two months to get your deposit back though if you elect to close this account later. Even though you pay your bill on time every month, they will not up your credit limit.
