Black-tailed deer, birds and intertidal life can all be found in the park.South Texada Island has many old roads that are suitable for mountain biking and hiking.Those waters of Subarea 16-15 that lie inside a line that: begins at 50°11.423' N 123°56.284' W shoreline then to 50°11.150' N 123°56.600' W in water then to 50°09.500' N 123°52.000' W in water then to 50°09.750' N 123°51.450' W shoreline then northwesterly following the shoreline to the beginning point.
The small island and peninsula are included in the park, but the head of the bay is private land.
The steep, rocky shoreline of South Texada Park makes access by boat very difficult.
Anderson Bay Provincial Park is a separate parcel located on South Texada’s eastern shore.
Established Date: July 28, 1997 Park Size: South Texada is 900 hectares and Anderson Bay is 35 hectares. Pets/domestic animals must be on a leash at all times and are not allowed in beach areas or park buildings.
